Get a quote

Your solar quote, without a home visit

No one visits your property until install day. Your system is designed by an MCS-certified engineer on a video call, using satellite imagery of your roof.

How it works

From postcode to proposal in 24 hours.

1

Enter your postcode

Takes two minutes. You tell us your postcode, upload a recent electricity bill if you have one, and pick a time for your video consultation.

2

Video call with an engineer

A 30-minute video call. The engineer pulls up satellite imagery of your roof, assesses orientation and shading, and designs your system live on screen while you watch.

3

Custom design and transparent proposal

Within 24 hours you receive a full proposal by email. Every component is named: panel brand, wattage, inverter model, battery capacity. The price is broken down line by line. No bundled system pricing.

4

Decide in your own time

The quote does not expire. Compare it against other installers. Ask us follow-up questions by email. There are no callbacks, no chasing, no pressure.

5

Installation day

The first time anyone from Geko sets foot on your property. Scaffolding goes up the day before, panels and inverter the next morning. Most residential installs take one to two days.

FAQ

Questions about getting a quote online.

Is a video survey as accurate as an in-person visit?

For most UK homes, yes. We use high-resolution satellite imagery to measure roof dimensions, assess pitch and orientation, and identify shading from trees or neighbouring buildings. If your property has unusual roof geometry, is listed, or has a shared roof, we will flag that a physical survey is needed before quoting. We do not guess.

What do I need for the video call?

A phone, tablet, or laptop with a camera. A recent electricity bill if you have one, or your annual kWh figure from your supplier app. That is it. You do not need to climb on your roof or take photos.

How long until I get my quote?

The video call takes about 30 minutes. Your full proposal arrives by email within 24 hours. Most customers have it the same evening.

Can I just get a quick estimate without a call?

Yes. Our online estimator gives you a rough figure in about two minutes based on your postcode and electricity usage. But for an accurate, installation-ready quote, we need the 30-minute video call. The estimator is a starting point, not a commitment.

Do you install nationwide?

We cover England, Wales, and Scotland. Our teams travel to you. Same process, same pricing, same people regardless of location.

What if I already have quotes from other companies?

Good. We encourage it. Send us what you have and we will walk you through the differences during the video call. If another installer is offering better value, we will tell you.

Is there any cost for the consultation?

No. The video consultation is free and there is no obligation. About one in five consultations ends with us recommending against solar for that property. We would rather be straight with you than sell you something that will not perform.
