How the install came together.
Pete and Sarah found us through a Facebook ad. One click, one form, and our team had them on a call the same day to talk through where they were spending most of their energy and what they wanted to take back control of.
That same day they booked a discovery slot with one of our engineers. We walked through their last twelve months of bills, pulled their roof up on the design software, and started sizing the system around their real usage rather than a catalogue package.
The design we landed on: 16 DMEG 515W panels — 8.24 kWp of generation — paired with a Fox 6kW hybrid inverter and a Fox EP12 12kWh battery. Enough generation to push them well past self-sufficiency on most days, enough storage to carry the surplus into the evening, and a hybrid inverter that's ready for the EV charger they added a few weeks later.
Our in-house team installed the whole system in a single day. Pete and Sarah went from over £3,000 a year in electricity bills to just £23 a month — a £277/month, £3,324/year saving and around a 92% reduction. Adding the EV charger on the hybrid inverter took that even further — they're now charging the car overnight on cheap-rate while the battery and panels handle the day.
